Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml is designed to cure shortness of breath, wheezing and difficulty in breathing as well as dry/productive cough associated with asthma, allergies and other COPDs.Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml belongs to a group of drugs known as bronchodilators and brings relief by causing the relaxation of smooth muscle cells surrounding the bronchioles in the lungs.

A tablet is commonly prescribed to be ingested once a day. The dosage of Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml is dependent upon the patient’s age, medical condition, patient’s response to the drug, any medications patient might be having along with Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml and any adverse effects felt by the patient. It is recommended that patients ingest Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml at the same time each day and put an alarm as a reminder if need be.

Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml is safe to be prescribed to patients over the age of 2 years but is considered unsafe to be recommended to lactating women. The intake of alcohol and caffeine is prohibited while undergoing treatment with Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml as it may lead to an increase in adverse effects experienced by patients. Dosage

Adult Dosage

3-4 teaspoons can be safely administered to patients aged 18 years and above;per day.

Child Dosage

1-2 teaspoons can be safely administered to patients aged 17 years and below;per day.

Elderly Dosage 

Elderly patients with mild to moderate kidney or liver impairment;a lower dosage of Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml is commonly advised.

Pregnancy Use and Lactation

There isn't enough evidence to suggest that Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml is safe to be prescribed to pregnant mothers, therefore, if you are pregnant or planning to start a family while undergoing treatment with Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml,it’s best to consult a physician before ingesting any drug.Unifyline 100mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml may pass to the infant via breastmilk and is therefore not recommended for breastfeeding mothers.
