FAQs

Seleco 100mg Tablet 10 'S belongs to a class of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) which are used for moderate to severe pain relief alone or in combination. It also helps in combating signs of inflammation including swelling, stiffness, tenderness, and pain in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, dysmenorrhea, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and muscle pain.

Seleco 100mg Tablet 10 'S is chemically composed of Celecoxib, which particularly inhibits COX-2, unlike other NSAIDs that are non-specific inhibitors of COX 1 and 2. These work by blocking inflammatory mediators and reducing pain and swelling. NSAIDs carry an increased risk of side effects on gastrointestinal including ulceration, bleeding, etc. Seleco 100mg Tablet 10 'S must not be prescribed to people with long-standing heart disease due to the potential risk of myocardial infarction.
