Lowplat Plus 75mg+75mg Tablet 10 'S effectively combines an antiplatelet drug (Clopidogrel) and an NSAID (Aspirin) in one tablet to prevent platelets from forming a clot (platelet plug) in the blood vessels thereby protecting the patient from strokes, heart attacks, and other similar illnesses.
Antiplatelet drugs (Clopidogrel) prevent platelets from recognizing each other and coming together to form a union that leads to clot formation. NSAIDS on the other hand, inhibits Thromboxane A2, a naturally occurring chemical that leads to the formation of new platelets.
