How To Use Dalacin C 300mg Capsule 4 'S

As An Injection:

Dalacin C 300mg Capsule 4 'S is injected into the patient’s muscles (intramuscular pathway) or the patient’s vein (intravenously) by a trained healthcare professional. The area where the needle is to pierce the skin is first disinfected by an alcohol swab or any other disinfectant that the hospital has. Then the needle was uncapped and the solution was injected into the body. The solution is injected slowly. The dosage can be divided into two or four separate doses, given within 24 hours if need be. The area of the skin where the needle enters may slightly bruise or remain sore for 24 hours. After the injection the needle prick is pressed down (by hand) for 20 seconds, to make sure there is no bleeding and then a band-aid is placed on top. If you miss a dose of the medication, make sure you take it as soon as possible on that same day. Elderly Dosage 

For elderly patients that are susceptible to kidney and liver problems, a lowered dose of Dalacin C 300mg Capsule 4 'S may be prescribed under the care and supervision of a physician.

Pregnancy Use And Lactation

Dalacin C 300mg Capsule 4 'S is deemed unsafe to be prescribed to pregnant and breastfeeding women. If you are undergoing treatment with Dalacin C 300mg Capsule 4 'S and become pregnant, inform your doctor immediately.

  • Feeling or being sick (nausea or vomiting) or diarrhea -Avoid eating rich or spicy food. It might help to take medication after food. If you're sick, try drinking small, frequent sips of water.
  • Skin Rash- can be eased by applying soothing and healing lotions or creams such as calamine lotion/cream. Apply a cold compress to the rash helps reduce itchiness and redness caused by the rash.
