About

Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S was created to help people suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder and similar mental health ailments by increasing the levels of serotonin in the body of patients who are unable to produce adequate levels of serotonin themselves. Serotonin is one of the four ‘happiness drugs’ produced naturally by the body. A tablet per day is commonly prescribed to patients to be ingested preferably with food. The dosage of Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S is dependent upon the patient’s age, medical condition, patient’s response to the drug, any medications patient might be having along with Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S and any adverse effects felt by the patient. It is recommended that patients ingest Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S at the same time each day and put an alarm as a reminder if need be.

Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S is not prescribed to patients under the age of 18 years nor is it recommended to expecting and lactating women. A lower dosage of the drug may be prescribed to elderly patients with other illnesses (such as kidney and liver impairment). The intake of alcohol is prohibited while undergoing treatment with Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S as it may cause dizziness. If the patient is having other prescription drugs along with Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S they must inform their doctor before taking Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S as drugs such as blood thinners, MAO inhibitors, and NSAID is said to interact with Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S negatively.

Nausea, dry mouth, headache and increased amount of sweating are just a few of the common side effects felt by patients while ingesting Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S, these effects tend to resolve on their own in a few days. Clomfranil 10mg Tablet 10 'S may also cause slight weight gain. It may take up to 2 - 3 weeks to manifest the benefits of the drug therefore, it is advised to not stop treatment abruptly once the patient feels better (usually after a few days) without consulting a doctor. If you miss a dose of the medication, make sure you take it as soon as possible on that same day. If you don’t remember you missed the dose until the next day, do not double the dose and take your medication as per schedule as that may lead to serious adverse effects
