Claforan 1gm Injection 1 vial belongs to a wide spread chemical group known as antibiotics.Claforan 1gm Injection 1 vial works by preventing the growth/multiplication of the bacteria in the human body thus eradicating the infection.Claforan 1gm Injection 1 vial essentially stops the production of bacterial cell walls,making the microorganism susceptible to elimination by the body’s defense system.
Claforan 1gm Injection 1 vial is injected into the patient’s muscles (intramuscular pathway) most commonly or into the patient’s vein (intravenously) by a trained healthcare professional.The area where the needle is to pierce the skin,is first disinfected by an alcohol swab or any other disinfectant that the hospital has.Then the needle uncapped and solution injected into the body.The solution is injected slowly.The dosage can be divided into two separate doses, given within a span of 24 hours if need be.The area of the skin where the needle enters,may slightly bruise or remain sore for 24 hours.After the injection the needle prick is pressed down (by hand) for 20 seconds,to make sure there is no bleeding and then a band-aid is placed on top.It is advised to not mix Claforan 1gm Injection 1 vial with other medicines.

Adult Dosage

Child Dosage
