Dosage

UTIs: 250 mg 6 hourly.

Child Dosage 

Under 3 months: 65.5 to 125 mg twice daily in two to four divided doses.

4 months to 2 years: 250 mg to 500 mg daily in two to four divided doses.

3 to 6 years: 1 to 2 grams daily in two to four divided doses.

Respiratory Tract Infections: 25 to 50 mg/kg/day given in divided doses.

Otitis Media: 75 to 100 mg/kg/day 6 hourly.

Skin Infections: 25 to 50 mg/kg/day given 12 hourly.

Pregnancy Use And Lactation

Ceporex 125mg/5ml Suspension 90 ml may be prescribed to pregnant women only when necessary and under the supervision of a healthcare provider as there is no evidence of risk.
