Brotin 2.5mg Tablet 10 'S also helps control and limit the excessive production of certain specific hormones in the body such as prolactin which results in hyperprolactinemia causing the body to experience reduced sperm production, excessive formation of breastmilk or disrupted menstrual cycle, difficulty getting pregnant, or people having difficulty with libido.

The Brotin 2.5mg Tablet 10 'S however cannot be used directly for the symptoms listed above unless advised by a medical expert. It is ingested to limit the production of hormones while also producing dopamine chemicals naturally in the brain. It is initially prescribed in a small dose and then gradually increased. The common dose advised is one tablet twice a day however it can still vary depending on the patient's condition.

The medicine should be ingested by water and essentially with food. Brotin 2.5mg Tablet 10 'S belongs to a class of chemicals known as dopamine receptor agonists. The medicine functions by reducing the amount of specific hormone in a body known as prolactin which causes hyperprolactinemia and many other effects. The medicine starts reducing prolactin within 2-3 weeks of intake, while the complete treatment can also take up to several months.

Brotin 2.5mg Tablet 10 'S is to be ingested orally with water and essentially with food. Commonly 2.5mg of this medicine is recommended twice daily however initially lower dosage is prescribed so the patient does not experience any side effects. Different quantities are prescribed under medical conditions such as in the condition of suppression of lactation, the medicine is prescribed one on the day of delivery and then twice daily after a few days for 2 weeks maximum. For prolactinoma, acromegaly and Parkinson's disease the initial dosage is lower as per the scheme and then stabilized to 2.5mg intake twice a day, daily.

Child Dosage

Pediatrics highly discourage the dosage above 5mg for children. In most cases when the dose is increased initially, it is stabilized at 2.5 for kids with long intervals. For kids above 13, the maximum dose is advised 10mg, and the normal dose is advised 2.5mg with no specific risks for children.

Elderly Dosage

Pregnancy Use and Lactation
