How To Use Amplus 250mg Injection 1 vial
Amplus 250mg Injection 1 vial is to be ingested orally (by mouth) twice or thrice, daily, or as directed by the doctor. It can be ingested preferably without food, for better absorption of the medicine takes it at least 1 hour before your meal. The patient is advised to take each dose at the same time each day keeping an 8–12-hour gap in between each dose. Adult Dose
Mild to moderate infections: 250 - 500 mg oral capsules, 6 - 8 hourly.
An acute flare-up of chronic infections: 500 mg oral capsules, 8 -12 hourly.
Severe infections: 1-2 grams every 6 -10 hourly or as suggested by the doctor.
Duration of antibiotic therapy varies with existing infection, generally, it is taken for 7-10 days.
Pediatric Dose
Recommended drug for use in neonates up to 2 years is in form of oral drops. Amplus 250mg Injection 1 vial cannot be consumed easily for younger children. For older children usually Amplus 250mg Injection 1 vial is prescribed according to the weight. 12 years and above may be able to take capsules.
